Basket
Orders Placed For Local Delivery by 11:00 a.m. will be
delivered the same day. Any orders placed after 11:00 a.m.
will be delivered the next business day, unless
otherwise requested; i.e. future date is arranged. Local
delivery includes areas within 10 miles of Schererville,
Indiana. All others will be shipped UPS ground unless other
arrangements are made. Please call our toll free number with
any special delivery instructions.
Residential
Deliveries will be made Monday through Friday between 8:00
a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Deliveries start at $10.00. This
fee covers most of the greater area. Outlying areas may incur
a $15.00 delivery fee. Rush deliveries are $20.00.
Residential Deliveries made when no one is available to
receive the delivery will be left with a neighbor if possible
and a door tag will be left with notification of delivery and
location.
Re-delivery Attempts - or re-routed
deliveries to corrected addresses: When no one is available to
receive packages, a second delivery attempt will be made. You
will be charged accordingly. In addition, you will also be
charged if the second delivery attempt is due to an incorrect
address.
Commercial Deliveries will be made Monday
through Friday between 8:00 am. and 5:00 p.m. Our courier
service guarantees delivery by the close of the business day.
Fees are the same as the residential fees outlined
above.
Special timed deliveries will be quoted upon
request.
Pick up orders must be picked up at the time
agreed upon when the order is placed. Orders that are not
picked up within 3 days of scheduled pick up time will be
delivered via our courier service at the customers expense and
will be billed accordingly.
UPS and Federal Express
Service are available upon request. Most parcels range
from $13.95 to $19.95 for regular ground service.
All other requests for 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day
Air, will be quoted upon request. Our orders are shipped
regular ground service unless otherwise requested. Penalty
fees for incorrect addresses will be charged.
Nationwide
and worldwide shipping is available. Baskets by Design hand
delivers to the following Indiana cities: Crown Point,
Dyer, Griffith, Hammond, Hobart,
Highland, Merrillville, Munster, Portage, Saint John
& Schererville. Hand delivery is also available for
the following Illinois cities: Calumet City, Crete,
Lansing.
